This feels like a season of milestones. It is our 100th season of league football and our sixth consecutive top flight season,something no Brentford team has achieved before. In August 1901, Brentford FC became a limited company, 125 years ago. For Bees United, 2026 also marks two significant anniversaries: 25 years since our foundation and 20 years since BU, its members and the club’s fans helped save Brentford FC with Bees United buying a controlling shareholding in Brentford FC Limited.
For those who remember those events in 2001, there are still times when it feels inconceivable that we still have Brentford FC. Twenty years ago, supporters rallied to save Brentford because to those fans there was no alternative to consider. Few standing on the terraces at Griffin Park in 2001 would have dared predict six Premier League seasons, a new stadium (even if there is no monorail…) and a club now regarded by many commentators as an established top-flight team. Back then, we were just hoping there would still be a club to support. Instead, today we are witnessing one of the most successful periods in its history. This is a season to reflect on how far the club has come and the difference supporters made when it mattered, to secure its very existence.

The Bees United logo hasn’t changed for a number of years and as part of ongoing efforts to represent all supporters and ensure we remain relevant for the future we have decided to give it a refresh.
We believe that the new logo is cleaner and more versatile.
It is better suited to how our members and fans engage with Bees United today, on all platforms and devices, be it on social media, mobile devices or at our events.
