In our survey you told us a great deal about the club that you thought needed attention and from your regular email feedback to our inbox (hello@beesunited.org.uk)

We’ve fed this back and now want to give you an update.

Perhaps the most mentioned comment was that you wanted the club to respond to feedback!

A kind of “you said, we did”, communication. The club accepts this and has told us it’s now part of this season plans so we hope to see some changes soon.

Ticketing and service to fans

There were a few ticketing issues we raised for you…
* A plan has been prepared to help the migration of younger fans to their own seat / Season Ticket. There is no launch date, but the club are gathering data and working with the Junior Supporters Board.
* We understand that anyone over 75 who requested a physical season ticket has been provided with one. This is continuing but will still be by request as they don’t want to assume those over 75 can’t use digital tickets.

Gtech – and the area

The club has been working with the council, the police and TFL for a number of years to improve access to the ground but if you do feel unsafe going to and from the ground please email report@brentfordfc.com as soon as possible.

  • The club has introduced a number of accessibility improvements with rails in the North stand, increased wheelchair provision, improved signage and improved toilet facilities. Unfortunately, rails can’t be installed in the South Stand due to the seating gradient, as it would create sightline issues impacting views for other supporters.
  • Some good news is the club have listened to issues around the PA in the North stand and sound levels can now be controlled by stand so you should literally hear an improvement.

Away Fans

The club has told us they now has a ticketing integrity employee in place whose main role is to ensure tickets are sold through legitimate avenues, and to deal with the accounts of people who have been proven to be an away fan in home areas. But it’s an ongoing issue – it will work better and faster if you can report your concerns immediately.

B Team

We continue to push for more B team match info and for team sheets to be made available. We hope they will be online soon.

Kids entertainment

With no space for a regular fan zone the club is seeking ways to collaborate with partners and will try to show some better or different entertainment this season.

Food and drinks

We are part of a food and beverage working group and your feedback has been valuable to this. We have pushed for changes this season including more choice of soft drinks and vegan food and we continue to push for greater value and greater variety of food.

In response the Club has frozen the price of draught beer, bottled and hot drinks plus the early bird offers. There is additional better value meal bundles available too.

Loaded chips are now available in the North Stand and West Stand Upper, Coke, Fanta and Fruit Shoots introduced across the board, Cornish fruit cider is available in some areas, Pride Lager has replaced Grolsch and cask ale has been introduced in the North Stand in addition to the premium lounges.

Other

We’ve also passed on feedback about wi-fi in the ground which is improved but can always be better and improved male toilet facilities, especially in the North stand.

If you have comments about smoking in the ground or about any abusive behaviour it’s important to report at the time on a match day. It’s very hard to take action post match.

We’ll continue to work hard to represent you and all your feedback. The Club are responsive and given where we were a few seasons ago in Griffin Park are making solid progress.

You must have some thoughts! Tell us what you think!
