The continuing changes at Brentford have an effect on Bees United as well. In the last few weeks. John McGlashan has stood down as chairman, with Brian Burgess replacing him.

The Society Board also elected Bruce Powell as vice-chairman. And then, because of his appointment as a full time director of Brentford FC, John McGlashan also gave up his job with Bees United, although for the time being he will still deal with any enquiries which members may have, but on a voluntary basis.
