Bees United announces with regret that Trevor Inns has declared his intention to resign as a member of the Trust board with effect from the AGM scheduled for this November.

Trevor joined the Trust board in September 2006 and leaves due to taking employment overseas. He said, "When I stood for election to Bees United two years ago, it was primarily because the board was, in their own words, adopting a budget that contained 'substantial risks'. I said at the time that that was unacceptable to me. I am glad to report that under new stewardship and with Alan Bird as a BU representative on the BFC Board (and as the de-facto BFC CFO) that this season's budget is fully funded and the assumptions in that budget are more than reasonable.

"The forthcoming year should be a very exciting one for all those on the BU Board. I strongly encourage anyone that wants to help make a difference to the future of our trust and our club to consider standing in the forthcoming elections. You will find it a worthwhile and rewarding experience.”

Bees United Chairman, David Merritt, placed on record his thanks for Trevor's involvement with the Trust: "On behalf of the Board I express our sincere thanks for all of Trevor's hard work and dedication since he has been a board member and wish him well in the future."

"Trevor has recently had lead responsibility within the Trust Board for issues relating to the Club and our Investors, and has been a great help to me as we deal with the significant financing issues facing the Club and the Trust. The forthcoming elections are therefore a great opportunity to strengthen the BU Board and ensure we have the right people to carry out these important roles."

Trevor's resignation in November will mean four available spaces in the forthcoming Bees United board elections, details of which will be announced shortly by The Trust.
