The Bees United Election Working Group (EWG) is organising an "online hustings" following the announcement of the six candidates for the forthcoming board elections.

If you would like to ask any of the candidates a question please email them to hustings@beesunited.org.uk. Any questions submitted will receive an email receipt within 24 hours.

Questions should relate specifically to the election and they will need to be directed to all the candidates.

Questions will be withdrawn or amended if they are considered to be in any way defamatory, libellous or are considered to leave the Trust open to any form of legal action from any of the candidates.

To avoid unnecessary repetition, the EWG may decide to consolidate or rationalise certain questions. In such an event, every effort will be made to liaise with the individuals and inform them of any changes to their questions.

The deadline for the questions is Thursday 23 October; these will be collated and candidates advised on 24 October.

The deadline for responses will be Friday 31 October and they will be published on the Bees United web site on Monday 3 November.

There will be four places available at the Board Elections and the voting will be controlled by the Electoral Reform Services, using the Single Transferrable Voting System. The successful candidates will be entitled to serve a term of three years on the Bees United Board.

Supporters should be receiving papers towards the end of October and the deadline for receipt of voting papers will be 13 November.
