The Trust Board held their latest board meeting on the 11 December, with the election of officers held. The posts of Chairman (Brian Burgess), Society Secretary (Chris Gammon), Fundraising Secretary (Natasha Judge), Membership Secretary (Allison Franklin) and Communication Director (Mark Chapman) elected unopposed.

The post of Finance Director was subject of a vote between Trevor Inns and Stephen Callen with Trevor Inns duly elected. Trust Chairman Brian Burgess said: "I would like to pay a personal debt of thanks to Stephen for his efforts as Finance Director since he joined the Trust Board when it was set up over five years ago, not only as a Bees United board member, but also his work for the football club. This period of time has seen the Trust grow from a small membership to an organisation that now has the controlling ownership of Brentford FC. That achievement is down in no small part to his endeavours."

A new formal position of Deputy Chairman was also created with Trevor Inns elected unopposed. This role will concentrate on the inner workings of the BU board to ensure it is focussed on the priorities that lay ahead for the Trust in the coming year.

A Communication action plan was approved, with Press Officer and Website Co-ordinator posts created to assist the Communications Director. These voluntary positions will be filled shortly.
