On 19 May 2007 fifty-four Brentford fans will emulate the feats of supporters from forty years ago and walk sixty-four miles from Brighton to Brentford in order to raise funds for Bees United, The Brentford Supporters' Trust. 15% of proceeds are also being donated to CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).

The walkers start from Brighton Marina at 6pm on Saturday, 19 May.

The route is as follows:

We follow the A23 towards London, until we reach close to the Withdene and then follow the A281. We enter Horsham and continue through Ockley, going onto the A29, before getting onto the A24. The final part of the walk will go through Hampton Court, onto Bushey Park and via Kew Green.

Official joining points will be Boxhill, Bushey Park and Kew Green. Timings are hard to calculate but we would expect it to be at least thirteen hours before anyone arrives at Boxhill.

Due to a lack of marshalls these joining points will not be manned.

Donations of provisions have been kindly made from Rumblers, GlaxoSmithKline and General Mills. All medical supplies have been sponsored by BIAS. An advice list regarding equipment/provisions etc will be produced and circulated to all walkers this Thursday (17 May).
