Following the close of nominations the list of candidates standing for the Bees United Board is as follows:

Stephen Callen
Donald Kerr
David Merritt

As there are the same number of candidates as places, in accordance with Rule 8 of the Trust’s Election Rules an affirmative ballot (rather than a ballot conducted by ERS) shall be held at the Annual General Meeting. Each successfully nominated candidate will be put before the meeting for the approval of members.

Members can participate in the ballot, under Item 9 of the AGM agenda, either by attending the meeting, or by advising a proxy of their votes.

If you have already named a proxy other than the Chairman please advise them of your wishes. If you have already nominated the Chairman as your proxy, and are content for them to cast a vote on your behalf you need take no action.

If you wish to direct the Chairman on this item please write to Bruce Powell by post at Griffin Park, or by e-mail at bruce.powell@beesunited.org.uk, stating your name, membership number and how you wish your votes to be cast. The deadline for receipt of such instructions is 12 noon Thursday 15 November 2007.

Copies of the candidates’ election statements will be made available on the Trust’s website from next week, at the AGM, and can also be obtained by post or e-mail from Bruce Powell.
