Bees United received a refinancing offer worth £7M from Richard Thompson on Wednesday 18 September 2002 which will be considered by the Society Board this Saturday.

Until then, any stories which suggest a deal is a formality are mere speculation. In addition, at this early stage Bees United has not involved Martin Lange or Ron Noades in any discussions regarding a possible refinancing deal.

We have met with a number of potential funders during the summer months and it is well known we are actively seeking a refinancing package. An acceptable offer would allow us to exercise our option to buy the club, and release Ron Noades and Altonwood from their guarantees.
