At the Bees United Board meeting on Thursday 26 October 2006, the following changes were agreed and noted by the Board.

Mark Chapman replaced David Hawes as Communications Director, who has stood down from the post. He will, however, give Mark his full support in this area and remains a board member.

John Anderson announced his intention to stand down as a loan note holders representative. There is an election to fill this post after the Bees United AGM next month. The Board expresses its thanks to John for his immense contribution to the work of the Society in recent years.

On these changes, Chairman Brian Burgess said: "On behalf of the board I'd like to express our thanks to John for all his hard work over the past four years, not least the tremendous sums raised by bucket collections and gigs in Stripes. I would also like to thank David for his efforts coordinating our Communications for the past year and I look foward to the energy and enthusiasm that Mark will bring to the role of Communications Director which is an important area of the Trust's work."
