At a board meeting of Brentford Football Club on Monday 31 March 2003, Ron Noades stood down as chairman, and resigned as a director of the club. The directors then appointed Bees United board members; Andrew Wainwright and Stephen Callen, as directors of the club.The new board will meet later in the week to elect a new chairman.

Bees United also presented a cheque for £100,000 as a loan to the club, and made a commitment to lend the club further sums during the next twelve months.
