Following my appeal for financial support to help Bees United to complete the purchase of Brentford FC, Bees United received an additional conditional pledge on Thursday 9 November and other investors have approached Club Chairman, Eddie Rogers, expressing an interest in investing in the Club. Negotiations are taking place with these parties.
Following discussion at the Brentford FC board meeting on Thursday, the Club's financial forecasts for the period until December 2006 are being further scrutinised and updated to establish the level of further funding that may be required to remain within the limits of the bank facilities.
Eddie and I are co-ordinating our efforts and aim to make a joint announcement when it becomes clearer whether or not we will be able complete the purchase.
