A MESSAGE FROM THE BEES UNITED SECRETARY, BRUCE POWELL:

I apologise for not letting everone know about the extension to the time period for candidates to withdraw thier nominations.

Some of the candidates for the forthcoming election requested that they be able to read the election addresses of fellow candidates prior to making their decision about whether to stand or not. Due to holiday comitments this request was unable to be complied with until the day of the previously declared deadline for them making a decision, I thought it only right to give them all an extension to deadline for the declaration of their willingness to continue.

Accordingly the revised deadline is 7th September.
